āMy dad had a storage unit here. He died a few months ago. We continued to pay for his unit but in February, my uncle and I went to clear it out. We removed everything that belonged to us. My uncle paid the last month rent and talked to the employees. When I was made aware of a lien placed against my deceased dads account via my sister informing me of an email sent to my dad (and cc to me at an email I no longer have access to), I called to ask why no one had had made any attempt to CALL US to advise us of any additional steps needed to clear my dadās obligations. PHILLIP said I was inappropriate for questioning the fact they hadnāt called. (?!) He said that we didnāt follow the process for vacating the unit. Which we were never informed of. My dad is the one who got the unit. My uncle and I both provided phone numbers to them. And no one attempted to contact us until they decided to place a lien at which point they sent an email to my deceased dads and cc an invalid email. Not one phone call was ever made trying to reach us, and Phillip has been rude and insensitive in every interaction we have had. Highly do not recommend as far as customer service. Absolutely no compassion or attempt to help or provide necessary information to us as a family dealing with a recently passed loved one..ā
