“I’ve been a customer at Daryl’s Main Storages for years and never had a single issue—until a couple of days ago. I went to pull some items out of my unit and was hit with the overwhelming smell of death the second I opened the door. Inside was a dead rat, along with obvious signs of chewing and infestation. My couch and bed are now ruined and reek so badly they’ll probably have to be thrown away. A nice stand I had in there was completely chewed up. Worst of all, irreplaceable pictures that my grandma gave me before she passed away are contaminated and smell like death. These were sentimental family heirlooms I can never replace. I immediately tried contacting the facility. I’ve been calling and messaging for two full days now, and the general manager has not responded or returned a single message. Zero follow-up, zero apology, zero offer to even discuss the situation or help with pest control or cleanup. Nothing. As a long-term paying customer, I expected basic maintenance and pest prevention, and I certainly expected the management to at least acknowledge a serious health and property-damage issue when it’s reported. This level of neglect and total radio silence is beyond unprofessional—it’s unacceptable. I’m now stuck dealing with the cleanup, the ruined belongings, and the emotional loss on my own while the facility pretends the problem doesn’t exist. If you’re considering storing anything valuable, sentimental, or even just furniture here, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Daryl’s Main Storages clearly does not care about their customers once your unit is locked..”
